Gross grams: Weight per unit × number of units × grams per unit of measure. One troy ounce is 31.1034768 grams. One avoirdupois ounce is 28.349523125 grams.
Fine troy ounces: Gross grams × fineness fraction ÷ 31.1034768. Enter 99.99% for a declared fineness of .9999.
